I saw an Orient fan in my local last year.

True story.

Assuming he won't be overtly Liverpool, then it would have been tolerated at UP.

We had an Arsenal supporter in with us a few years ago - he wanted to go to football with his mates. I've got a couple of Orient mates who had STs at UP.

I find it a bit strange that he lives in London and clearly does not know any of the history behind our club!

This would not have been tolerated at UP, then again I have seen stewards at OS cheering Man U and Man C goals last season.

Find it odd, but some people just like watching live football I suppose.

I bought a season ticket at Maine Road 20 years ago when they were doing the shit hole up and didn't allow away fans.

Luckily we played them early in the season and we all managed to sell them on and almost recoup the £200 outlay.

I like the sound of Jimmy Nutcase. Was he an actual nutcase or was that just coincidence?

Re: New STH at OS posted on Twitter
I would do Gavvy but they are shit.... shame it's not the late 70's I'd be all over them.... Stevie Heighway.... Keegan... Toshack.... Phil Boresma or whatever he was called... Jimmy Nutcase... obviously all players you would not know being only involved in football for 10 odd years yourself

thats modern football for you!

fella at work is a Luton Town fan and his boy supports man utd, but also has a chelsea shirt with 'costa' on the back. kids just fall into the Sky trap of 'big' clubs & 'big name' players.

where we live now is Spurs heartland........ my biggest concern in life is my boy supporting spurs.

My mate is a LFC fan… he’s got a ST at the Cesspit as well…. In his defence he takes his 2 boys who are obviously WHU… oh and Man City… and Barcelona… and any other team that does quite well…. But in all honesty… it’s all a bit shit isn’t it….

My issue is that there are genuine West Ham supporters on the waiting list that will miss out because of people like this. Obviously you cannot stop them all but a condition could be put on the purchase, that if you are found to support another club, the ticket will be cancelled.

Re: New STH at OS posted on Twitter
I know plenty of West Ham fans living away from London who go and watch football at other grounds, sometimes with an ST if it's their local ground.

Who knows, this guy may even become a WHUFC fan in time?

"question 2 - how many CURRENT internationals were in the starting 11 of the 1980 FA Cup final."

Considering it was 37 years ago, I'd guess none.

Re: New STH at OS posted on Twitter
Doesn't this happen at every club?
If people want to watch Premier League football at a club near where they live/work and are paying whats asked then I don't have a problem as long as they don't sit in the home end wearing another teams colours and cheer for the opposition.
If they do then I'd expect the stewards to chuck them out.

Exactly, people seem to be lining up to have a dig at the club about absolutely anything, without actually thinking it through. The bloke joined the ST waiting list and has now got a ticket. As much as I don't like it I fail to see how the club can stop this from happening? fella I work with is a Chelsea fan and managed to get 2 Arsenal seasons tickets a few years back, made a nice bit of dosh by selling them on for individual matches.

Re: New STH at OS posted on Twitter
The obvious answer to all this is if you see anyone darker than olive at the OS...slap them in the chops.
